At Thames View Junior School we believe that attendance and punctuality are key in ensuring children make rapid and sustained progress.
We work with families to aim for all pupils to have attendance above 97%. Our attendance officer, Hira Zafar, advises on attendance management issues and takes referrals on pupils who attend irregularly.
In situations where parents fail to ensure regular school attendance, the Access and Attendance Team will consider issuing a Fixed Penalty Notice – £60 payable within 21 days, rising to £120 payable within 22-28 days. Non-payment will result in prosecution.
If your child is going to be absent please call school on 0208 270 4310 before 8.40 am.
