SPORTS PREMIUM FUNDING
Each year our school receives Sports Funding. This money allows us to support our children become active and involved in a variety of sporting activities. At Thames View Junior School, we are committed to ensuring that our children receive a high quality PE education, delivered by a dedicated PE teacher. Children also have the opportunity to attend many sporting clubs both during lunch time and after school. We use a proportion of our PE funding to pay professional sports coaches as well as our staff to run a range of extended clubs. A growing number of our children will also experience broader competitions outside of school, competing a range of borough competitions.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
During school closures there are no extra curricular clubs on offer to the children.
At Thames View Junior School we run a wide and varied range of clubs throughout the week. We encourage all children to try out a club as it gives them the opportunity to meet new people and make friends. Extra curricular activities also widen and broaden children’s experiences outside of the classroom and are therefore an incredibly important part of their education.
Our clubs are run on a first come first serve basis. These are selected by parents by using parent mail.
After school clubs run from 3:10-4:10.
Children attending clubs must have the correct kit (sports) and must be collected on time. If you are running late please make contact with the school office on 02082704310. Consistent lateness may result in your child losing their place at the club.
Clubs must be booked through ParentMail.
