The School Uniform
The uniform for Thames View Junior School is:
A Polo shirt (must be branded):
Year 3 – Red
Year 4 – Yellow
Year 5 – Blue
Year 6 – Green
- Royal blue jumper/cardigan/fleece (with or without school logo)
- Plain dark grey or black school skirt, school trousers or school shorts.
- Summer dress in year group colours.
- Plain black school shoes/plain black trainers (no visible colours or logos).
- Plain black/white/blue headscarves permitted.
- Small stud earrings and no other jewellery unless for religious reasons (no hoops, necklaces, bracelets and rings).
- The only item of uniform that is required to be branded is the polo shirt, all other branded items are optional, any unbranded items must be similar in colour and design to the branded versions. For example, no pale blue jumpers as the branded items are royal blue.
PE Kit:
- Plain white t-shirt (with or without school logo)
- Plain black or navy-blue shorts/jogging bottoms (no visible colours or logos)
- Plain black trainers or black plimsolls
- Royal blue jumper/cardigan/fleece (with or without school logo)
Hairstyles:
- No extreme hairstyles, including shaved patterns or lines.
- No dyed or coloured hair (extensions - child's natural hair colour).
- Hair accessories must be plain black, blue or white only (no patterns, bows or large decorative accessories)
Please ensure your child comes to school in full, correct uniform each day. If a child is wearing incorrect clothing, they will be supported to borrow the appropriate uniform. If incorrect footwear is worn, they will be supported to borrow a pair of school plimsolls.
Please ensure that all items of your child’s uniform and personal belongings are clearly labelled with their name and class.
